“The Star Pirate Group has rescued Bai Xingluo?”
All the insects looked at each other in disbelief, while Tong Sui’s expression turned grim.
He was a step too late.
He had rushed here as soon as he woke up, so why was he still unable to change the outcome?
Tong Sui fell into self-doubt. Had he changed nothing at all? Bai Xingluo was still in the hands of the Star Pirate Group…
“Damn the Star Pirate Group, they are too arrogant, leaving marks so brazenly!”
“They went through a lot of trouble to break through the ventilation duct just to rescue someone who is no longer a threat, Bai Xingluo?”
“Could it be that a certain agreement was reached, like Bai Xingluo trading military secrets for his own life…”
Hearing this, Tong Sui was pulled out of his thoughts and snapped, “What nonsense are you spouting?”
The female insect he scolded immediately knelt down, shocked; it was the first time they had heard Tong Sui speak with such severity.
Tong Sui chose to ignore them and walked into the cell that had once held Bai Xingluo.
There were plenty of nutritional supplements on the tray, yet not a single one had been used.
He picked up a nutritional supplement and asked, “How many days was I unconscious?”
York replied, “Seven days.”
During those seven days, Bai Xingluo had not eaten anything.
Tong Sui glanced at the dried blood stains on the floor and a whip covered in barbs; the deep red color almost stung his eyes.
A hint of guilt crossed the prison warden’s face.
Tong Sui moved closer and, ignoring their protests, picked up the whip from the ground.
“Is this what you call not abusing him?”
The whip wasn’t heavy, but knowing the blood it carried made Tong Sui’s hand tremble.
He swung the whip in front of the prison warden and shouted, “So tell me, what would count as abuse? Killing him?”
The prison warden continuously apologized while kneeling, “Lord Tong Sui, please calm down. That wasn’t my intention; we never expected Lu Yuanzhao would actually go that far.”
“It’s him again.”
For the first time, Tong Sui felt someone could be hated to such an extent.
“We will address the prison’s negligence. The top priority now is to find General Bai Xingluo. Rest assured, we will dispatch the most elite forces, and I believe we will have news soon.”
“General Bai Xingluo is very strong. Even in the hands of the Star Pirate Group, he should be able to turn the situation around. You’ve just woken up; try not to get too angry for your health.”
A group of high-ranking officials carefully tried to appease him, but Tong Sui didn’t speak a word from the moment he left the cell until he boarded the warship.
While the cold, elegant Lord Tong Sui had a unique charm, the low pressure accompanying him made everyone feel suffocated.
Help.
Who would have thought that the high and mighty male insects would care so much about a minuscule female soldier?
Tong Sui reminisced about the original plot.
The Star Pirate Group initially planned to collaborate after kidnapping Bai Xingluo, but after being rejected, they resorted to various methods.
So, would this Bai Xingluo also refuse to collaborate?
On a fringe planet outside the imperial star.
A completely black starship floated slowly, like a lurking beast that was almost impossible to notice unless looked at carefully.
It’s hard to imagine that this muted starship was the flagship of the usually flamboyant Star Pirate Group.
Inside, the decor was vastly different from the exterior, adorned with extravagant designs and various exaggerated graffiti.
At the center, a silver-white figure lay unconscious, surrounded by several female insects dressed in different styles.
“Boss, why did you go through so much trouble to bring him back, and even to medicate him? He’s our enemy.”
The one they addressed as ‘boss’ was Yu Guangji.
He was lounging against the control panel, casually crossing his legs while nibbling on half-eaten lollipop.
At first glance, no one could believe that this somewhat doll-like insect was the notorious leader of the Star Pirate Group that terrified all insects.
“Who says he’s our enemy?”
Yu Guangji smiled, revealing his small canine teeth as he looked at the still unconscious Bai Xingluo. “Although I find him rather disagreeable in that military uniform, I admire his abilities.”
“As long as he can be utilized, he’s no longer an enemy.”
The younger minions gave him a thumbs up, “Boss is brilliant! So where should we start? Should we beat him up again?”
They glanced at the heavily bandaged body, unsure where to strike.
Yu Guangji replied, “Of course, we start with what he cares about the most.”
On the lavishly decorated royal warship, the atmosphere was gloomy, and all the insects were secretly observing Tong Sui’s expression.
They really deserved to die.
They let the just-awakened Lord Tong Sui get this angry; if they could, they would definitely protect Bai Xingluo well.
Yet no matter how they thought about it, they could never imagine Bai Xingluo would actually be mixed up with the Star Pirate Group?
This was too unbelievable!
The insects on the Star Network were watching Tong Sui’s activities post-awakening; where they went couldn’t be kept secret.

Floor 1: Ahhhhh, I need to appreciate Lord Tong Sui’s beauty first.
Floor 3: Thank you, OP!! New images to rush for, saving and printing big time!
Floor 6: Where is our precious Lord Tong Sui going to such dangerous places?
The uncivilized criminal insects inside are dangerous and vile, definitely drooling over Lord Tong Sui. Just thinking about it makes me angry!
Floor 34: Lord Tong Sui should be living in the royal castle. How could he set foot in this dirty prison?
Floor 59: It seems it’s because of General Bai Xingluo’s situation; didn’t they say that during the livestream earlier?
Floor 79: I’m so jealous, why is Bai Xingluo so lucky? He must have received a lot of Lord Tong Sui’s comfort. Just imagining it is blissful!
